Subaccounts

Use subaccounts in Addo Sign to divide your company by department, control access, and customise billing and branding.

⚠️You’ll need administrator rights to make the changes described in this article.

What is a subaccount?

In the Settings menu of Addo Sign, you may have noticed a tab called Sub-accounts.

But what exactly is a subaccount, and why use one?

What are the advantages of subaccounts?

Subaccounts allow you to divide a main company account into separate sections. This is useful if:

  • You want departmental-level administrators

  • Only certain users should be able to purchase credits

  • Each section needs its own logo or branding

  • You manage multiple business entities and want each to have its own VAT number

Subaccounts help you organise usage and permissions while still operating under one main Addo Sign account.

Each subaccount costs DKK 200 per month and is billed as part of your main subscription.

Get access to create subaccounts

The option to create subaccounts must first be enabled for your account.

Contact Addo Support if you want to start using subaccounts. Once the feature has been enabled, the Create new sub-account button becomes available under Settings → Sub-accounts.

When subaccount creation is enabled, the Create new sub-account button is available under Settings → Sub-accounts.

If you do not see the Create new sub-account button, contact Addo Support.

How do subaccounts work?

An administrator on the main account has access to all subaccounts by default. However, this access can be restricted if needed.

Access is structured bottom-up, meaning the main administrator can manage all users and groups across subaccounts. Each subaccount can include its own user groups, for example HR or Admin, and these groups can have their own designated administrators.

How to create a subaccount

Once subaccounts have been enabled for your account, you can create a new subaccount in Settings:

  1. Go to Settings.

  2. Select Sub-accounts.

  3. Click Create sub-account.

Then complete the information in the dialog box:

  • Company/sub-account name

  • Account owner

  • Email

  • Title (optional)

  • Phone (optional)

  • Language

  • Choose whether to send a welcome email to the user

Finally, click Save.

Enter the subaccount details, select the language, and click Save to create it.
