Note: You must have administrator access to change template settings in Addo Sign.
If you do not have administrator access, ask an Addo Sign administrator on your account to review or update the relevant template.
Before you start
Witness e-mail is controlled by the template used for the transaction.
If the template does not include witness setup, the witness option will not be available when a transaction is created from that template.
This means that witness e-mail must be enabled in the template before it can be used.
Changes to a template apply to future transactions created from that template. Existing transactions are not updated when you change the template.
Witnesses must be added in the template before it can be used in transactions created from that template.
Set up witness e-mail in a template
Go to Settings (⚙️) → Templates.
Open the template you want to update.
Find the witness setup in the template.
Select the checkbox labeled Can add witnesses.
Scroll down and click Save.
The updated witness setup applies to future transactions created from that template.

Whether you have administrator access
Whether you updated the correct template
Whether Can add witnesses is selected
Whether you clicked Save
Whether the transaction was created after the template was updated
