When sending documents for signature, you can choose:
Whether the signer should receive a receipt confirming the completed signing.
Whether the signer should receive a copy of the signed documents.
How any document copies should be protected.
These settings allow you to balance convenience and security based on your workflow.
Receipt for Signed Documents
A receipt confirms that the signing process has been completed successfully. It is sent only after all required signers have finished signing, ensuring the document is finalized.
To configure receipt delivery, use the Signer's receipt drop-down menu.
Available options depend on your setup. If you select None, the signer will not receive a receipt.
Note: If no receipt is sent, it is not possible to send a copy of the signed documents to the signer.
Copy of Signed Documents
In addition to the receipt, you can choose whether the signer should receive a copy of the signed documents for their own records.
Signed documents are available to:
The sender of the transaction.
The individuals who signed the documents.
If person as been added as Recipients of signed copy, in the template. Read more here.

What the Signer Experiences
If document copies are enabled:
The signer receives a notification that a document is ready for signing.
They open the signing link and complete the signing process using the selected signing method.
After all required signers have signed, the signer receives a receipt.
If document copies were included, the receipt contains a link to download the signed documents.
If additional protection was configured, the signer must enter the required secret code, password, or complete the required authentication before the documents can be opened.
Didn't Receive a Copy?
If a signer expected to receive a copy of the signed documents but did not receive one, they should first contact the sender and ask for the documents to be resent.
If you are the sender, you can also retrieve the signed documents directly in Addo Sign:
Open Addo Sign.
Locate the relevant transaction.
Go to Signing Details → Files.
Download the signed documents.
