Use this article if you need to check how many credits were used for a transaction, or if you expected to see credits directly in Overview.
Why credits are no longer shown in Overview
Credits are no longer shown as a column in the Overview and cannot be used as an Overview filter, as credits spent can change depending on the transaction setup, signer activity, distribution method, and services used during the signing flow.
To avoid confusion and differences between the Overview list and the final transaction cost, credits are shown in the transaction details and in exported transaction data instead.
Where you can see credits
You can still see a transaction's credit information in two ways:
You can open a single transaction and review Signing details → Credits
You can export transaction data from the Overview tab and review the credit fields in the resulting Excel- or CSV-file
We recommend using Signing details → Credits when you need to review one specific transaction, and using Export when you need to analyse several transactions or compare credit usage across transactions.
View credits for a single transaction
Go to Overview.
Click the transaction row to open the transaction:
Open Signing details.
Click Credits.
Open Signing details and select Credits to review how credits were used for the transaction.
Here, you can see a breakdown of how credits were used in the transaction.
Export credit information
You can also export transaction data from Overview if you need to review credits for several transactions.
Go to Overview.
Apply the filters, date range, or bookmarked view you want to use.
Click Export.
Open the exported file in Excel or another spreadsheet tool.
Use Export in Overview to review credit information across multiple transactions.
The exported file can include fields such as:
Credits
AuthenticationPrice
SigningPrice
DistributionPrice
NotificationPrice
FlowPrice
DocumentPrice
For more information about exporting transaction data, see Export transaction data to Excel or CSV.
Understanding credits in Signing details
In Signing details → Credits, credits may be grouped by category. The categories can include:
Authentication: Credits used for identification or authentication during the signing flow.
Signing: Credits used for the signing action itself.
Distribution: Credits used for delivering the signed documents.
Notification: Credits used for sending signing notifications.
Flow: Credits used for flow-related actions, such as forms or signing flow features.
Document: Credits related to document handling, for example document size.
The number of credits can vary, even if similar transactions use the same setup. This can happen if a signer uses a paid service more than once, for example by repeating an identification step.
Where to find credit prices
This article does not provide a detailed price list for each method, action, or service.
To see current credit prices and service prices, use the pricing information on the Addo Sign website and refer to the full pricing list:
