Dashboard overview

The Dashboard gives you a quick overview of your transactions, their status, and the actions available to you.

Use the Dashboard to monitor transaction activity, follow up on important statuses, start common workflows and create widgets based on bookmarked views from Overview.

Before you start

The Dashboard is designed for quick monitoring and daily follow-up. You should use the Overview tab when you instead need to search, filter, sort, open, export or analyse transactions in detail.

Use the Dashboard when you want a faster view of selected transaction activity, key metrics, shortcuts and saved transaction views. Available Dashboard content may depend on:

  • Your user access

  • Your account setup

  • The widgets added to your Dashboard

  • Bookmarked views created in Overview

  • The date range or filter setup used by a widget

What you can use the Dashboard for

The Dashboard helps you stay in control of your signing activity. You can use it to:

  • Get a quick status overview

  • See transactions that may need follow-up

  • Start common workflows from quick actions

  • Monitor activity over time

  • Add widgets for selected transaction views

  • Use bookmarked views from Overview as Dashboard widgets

  • Create a daily monitoring view for the transactions you work with most often

The Dashboard gives you a quick overview of transaction activity, status cards, quick actions, and widgets.

Get a quick status overview

At the top of the Dashboard you can see key metrics that highlight the current statuses of your transactions. These metrics can include:

  • Started transactions: Transactions you have started

  • Rejected transactions: Transactions that were rejected by recipients

  • Expired transactions: Transactions that were not completed before the deadline

  • Completed transactions: Transactions that were signed and finalized before the deadline

Each metric is based on activity within the last 60 days. Use these metrics to quickly identify transactions that may need action or follow-up.

Use the status widgets to identify started, rejected, or expired transactions that may need follow-up.

Use Quick actions

The Quick actions section gives you shortcuts to commonly used features.

Depending on your account setup, quick actions can include:

  • Sign: Start a new signing process

  • Secure file transfer: Send files securely without requiring a signature

  • Forms: Create and send forms for data collection

  • Mail merge: Send documents to multiple recipients at once

  • Validate CPR: Validate CPR numbers, if enabled on your account

Use quick actions when you want to start a workflow without navigating through multiple menus.

Use Quick actions to start common workflows directly from the Dashboard.

Monitor activity over time

The Transactions overview section gives you insight into transaction activity over a selected period of time. You can use it to:

  • View transaction activity for a selected period

  • Track usage across different transaction types

  • Identify patterns in signing, file transfer, forms and CPR validation activity

  • Compare activity over time

This helps you understand how your organization uses Addo Sign and where follow-up may be needed.

Use bookmarked views from Overview on the Dashboard

Bookmarked views from Overview can also be used on the Dashboard. A bookmarked view is a saved setup from Overview. It can include filters, sorting, visible columns, column order, column width and date range.

When you create or customize Dashboard widgets, you can use your bookmarked transaction views to create widgets based on the transactions you want to monitor.

This means that a saved view from Overview can become a Dashboard widget. For example, you can create Dashboard widgets for:

  • Started, Rejected, Expired or Completed transactions

  • Transactions associated with a specific sender

  • Transactions in a specific group

  • Transactions that match a saved search or filter setup

This makes it possible to use Overview for detailed filtering and Dashboard for quick daily monitoring.

Bookmarked views from Overview can be used to create Dashboard widgets for frequently used transaction lists.

You can customize the Dashboard so it better matches the transactions and workflows you need to follow.

If a widget does not show the transactions you expected, check the bookmarked view or setup behind the widget.

Check whether:

  • The correct bookmarked view is used

  • The date range in the bookmarked view is correct

  • The transaction belongs to a sender, group, or account you have access to
