Use Abort signing when a transaction should no longer be completed by the signers.
Before you start
You can cancel a transaction from the Overview tab when the "Abort signing" option is available in the transaction menu. When you cancel a transaction, the cancellation applies to the entire transaction. This includes all signers, even those who may already have completed their part.
Signers are not automatically notified when a transaction is cancelled.
The cancelled transaction will still appear in the Overview.
⚠️ Important: If you select Anonymize transaction when cancelling the transaction, personal data for all recipients is immediately anonymized and replaced with asterisks (*). This includes information such as name, e-mail address, and phone number.
How to cancel a transaction
Go to the Overview tab
Click the transaction row to open the transaction you want to cancel
Click the three dots (⋯) in the top-right corner of the transaction window
Select Abort signing:
Confirm the cancellation in the pop-up window:
The transaction is now cancelled.
